The Ronnie James Dio Years

Out of the heart of DeepPurple, Ritchie Blackmore came to form a new band featuring the lyrical talents of Ronnie James Dio (fomerly of Elf). I was turned on to Rainbow by a friend, from West Virginia, of mine while attending Carnegie Mellon University. I laughed at the band's name, at first, but he swore that songs like "Stargazer" and such were pretty damn cool. I later acquired a few Rainbow albums and figured out that Dan really did know what he was talking about... N E W     L O C A T I O N
