*As Director of Microsoft's Financial Risk Management Group, Doug Hoch is responsible for monitoring and advising on the risk and performance of Microsoft Treasury's $30B investment portfolio. He has worked in various capacities within Microsoft Treasury for the past 6 years. Prior to joining Microsoft, Hoch worked as a financial analyst at Tektronix Corporation. He holds an MBA from the University of Washington, a Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BS in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
