Targeted Skills: Machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, 
graphical modeling, signal procesing

Duties/Tasks: The primary goal of this internship is to research new 
theoretical approaches to coping with common hurdles in machine learning 
tasks.  An example problem is how to deal with uncertainties in training 
data (e.g., gaps in pattern labels).  The intern will also explore 
techniques for mining connected graphs with limited data.  The developed 
theoretical concepts will be tested on data available in conjunction 
with Smart Environments projects at Bosch RTC.
