Description: Video Analysis.

The Department of Statistics has 10 part-time Student Assistant positions
available.  Each position is for up to 8 hours a week, for a minimum of
2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks, and with an hourly wage of $10 per hour.

Duties include: Viewing a video segment on a computer, one image frame at a time,
and manually marking various portions of the frame using a computer mouse. The
video, as well as the software that allow for the marking will be provided on
a CD ROM. Either individually owned computers, or those available on campus,
may be used.

Minimum qualifications: Basic computing skills. Familiarity with a high-level
programing language (e.g., matlab, R, etc.) is desirable, but not necessary.
