A09/22 UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO Te Whare Wananga o Otago Dunedin, New Zealand Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics (Confirmation Path, Half-time) Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow in Biostatistics (Half-time) DEPARTMENT OF PREVENTIVE AND SOCIAL MEDICINE DUNEDIN SCHOOL OF MEDICINE Applications are invited for two positions in the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine. The first is a half-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Biostatistics and the second is a half-time Research Fellow or Senior Fellow in Biostatistics. The two positions could be held concurrently as two half-time positions by the appropriate candidate. The Department currently includes nine Biostatisticians in academic and research posts, and provides biostatistical support for the Division of Health Sciences. Applicants for the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position should have a doctorate in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related discipline, and appropriate experience. The person appointed will be expected to engage in collaborative health research, independent methodological research, and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applicants for the Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow should have a postgraduate degree or doctorate in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related discipline, and appropriate experience. The person appointed will be expected to engage in collaborative health research and statistical consulting, with some opportunity for independent methodological research and teaching.
