Sample exams will be available online prior to quizzes, the midterm and the final. Homeworks are due on Tuesdays at Quiz Sections. All homeworks are Review Exercises from the 3'rd edition of the textbook. Homework Hint: Problem 3.8 is a bit tricky. While answering (a) and (b) do remember to take into account the fact that the lengths of the bases of the blocks do not reflect the actual sizes of the class intervals.

EXAM SCHEDULE:
Quiz 1 : Thursday, April 19 (Chapters 1 to 5), Quiz 2: Thursday, May 17, (Chapters 13, 14, 16), Quiz 3 : Thursday, May 31 (Chapters 16 to 18).
For Quiz 1 on April 19, you have 4 problems carrying 27 points. The maximum you can score is 25. You have 35 minutes. Problems 1 and 2 are based on controlled experiments and observational studies. I would recommend going over that stuff carefully. You can use the Sample Quiz 1 and the actual Quiz 1 from last quarter for practice. You do not need to focus much on Chapter 3 (Histograms) for purposes of the quiz.
For Quiz 2 on May 17 you can ignore Chapter 16 (Box Models.)
