Adrian Dobra, Associate Professor in Statistics at the University of Washington, has been appointed as the Reviews Editor for the Journal of the American Statistical Association and The American Statistician (TAS).
The Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA) is the primary, quarterly journal published by the American Statistical Association (ASA) and has long been considered the premier journal of statistical science. Articles focus on statistical applications, theory, and methods in economic, social, physical, engineering, and health sciences and on new methods of statistical education.
The American Statistician is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering statistics published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the ASA. They strive to publish articles of general interest to the statistical profession on topics that are important for a broad group of statisticians, and ordinarily not highly technical. The journal is organized into sections: Statistical Practice, General, Teacher's Corner, Statistical Computing and Graphics, Reviews of Books and Teaching Materials, and Letters.
Dobra will be handling all review papers submitted to these journals. His appointment will start in January 2020 for a period of three years.
Adrian Dobra encourages many to submit suggestions for review papers by writing to email@example.com.
